Robert P. Adams

Bob was born October 16, 1965, in Hartford, CT, the son of the late Normand and Angele Adams.

He graduated from Howell Cheney Technical School in 1983 and, later, studied accounting at Manchester Community College.

Mr. Adams was employed by Rexel CLS, for 25 years, as a project manager.

Bob was a lifelong resident of East Hartford. He was a devoted father who cherished time spent with his 3 sons. He had a large circle of friends, old and new, who were all very dear to him. Bob was a loving, compassionate, generous man with a great sense of humor. He loved to make people laugh with his silly antics and jokes. Bob was an avid member of the Bourbon Lovers - The Original club via facebook and loved to chat with it’s many members. He had many interests and hobbies, but his greatest passion was cooking. He loved trying new recipes and always made enough to invite family and friends to sample his latest, delicious, creation.

Bob is survived, and will be dearly missed by his 3 sons, Andrew N. Adams, Aric R. Adams, and Austin G. Adams, of East Hartford, CT; his brother, Richard Adams, of Granville, NY; his sister, Theresa Barahman, of East Windsor, CT; his sister, Patricia Hettrick and her husband David Hettrick, of Middlefield, CT; his niece, Meagan Hettrick, of New York, NY; his nephew, Dawson Hettrick, of Middlefield, CT; his former wife, Lisa Adams of East Hartford; many extended family members and friends; and his beloved pets, Simba and Brienne.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Normand J. Adams and Angele C. (Choiniere) Adams, of East Hartford, CT.

Bob's family would like to express their deep gratitude for the outpouring of love, kindness, and support received from friends and neighbors during this difficult time.
