Patrick Joseph Carroll, 63, of East Hartford, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Rockville Hospital. Born in Hartford on June 28, 1958, he was the son of the late Bernard Carroll and Priscilla (Johnston) Carroll-Ward. Pat graduated from George J. Penney High School. He was a self-employed carpenter with numerous beautiful results. Pat was known to everyone as “Uncle Pat” and his storytelling and kindness were often displayed. Pat loved anything with a motor. He did a frame-up restoration on a Ford Model A and he also built many go-karts for his nieces and the neighborhood kids. Pat’s lifelong
passion was boating/fishing, and he lived to be on the ocean and lake waters of Connecticut.
Pat will be forever missed by his three siblings, James Carroll, Susan Carroll and husband Gary Baxter and Mike Carroll and his niece, Audrey Carroll. Pat also leaves behind a very special friend, Jayjay Mulero, his daughters Jaylynn, Carmen and Nelly and her mother Ky Marie, as well as many extended family members and friends. Pat was sadly predeceased by his beloved son, Daniel Patrick Carroll, and his sister, Terry Carroll.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Saturday, January 8, from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. concluding with a Prayer Service at the D’Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford.
