Patricia Ann Slocum was born July 20, 1935 and entered into eternal peace surrounded by her family November 28, 2022. She was originally from Glastonbury, continued to live in the local vicinity and returned to her roots at her final home at Naubuc Green.
Proud Mom to Patricia Hohmann, her husband, Gregory, Dwight H. Slocum, Jr., his partner, Andrea, Pamela Slocum, Dawn LaCroix, her partner, Steve; Proud Grandmother to Alyson Rolando, her husband, Anthony, Amanda McLane, her husband, Ben, Derek Hohmann, Stuart Slocum, his fiancé, Natasha Witik, Britta Rankl, her partner, J.P. and Cole LaCroix. Proud Great Grandmother to Anthony, Jr., Angelo, Brady, Gregory, Irelynn, Elena, Ella and Owen. Niece and neighbor to beloved Annie Torrance; Aunt to both beloved Buzz Wooldridge and beloved Chrissy Ponticelli. Predeceased by her niece, Kathy, sister and brother-in-law, Carol & Ray Ponticelli. Patricia also leaves behind many extended family and friends.
Patricia worked as a paraprofessional where she made a lasting impact on the kids of O’Connell School who still called her Mom, she was also a receptionist and banquet waitress. She loved sitting on the beach and riding on the back of a motorcycle any chance she got. Her family and friends were not only her priority, but caring for them was her greatest achievement.

There will be a memorial service celebrating Patricia’s life on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 12 noon at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Patricia’s family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday morning (December 17th) from 10 am to 12 noon. There will be a private burial at Green Cemetery, Glastonbury in the company of family members only.
