Nancy Louise (Wilbur) Smith, 82, of East Hartford, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2016 at CT Hospice, Branford. She was the beloved wife of the late Earl S. Smith Jr. Nancy was born on November 14, 1933, a daughter of the late Earl and Margaret (Mulligan) Wilbur.
Nancy was a longtime active parishioner of First Congregational Church of East Hartford for 58 years, and she was an active member and treasurer of the Gordon Setter Club of America for 28 years.
Nancy will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed life to the fullest, time spent with her family was what brought her the greatest joy to her life.
She will be dearly missed by her treasured family; daughters Rebecca Weber of Portland and Charlotte Smith of Wallingford, grandchildren Todd Weber and his wife Amy of Cobalt, Tracey Heller and her husband John of Portland and Ashley Tobey and her husband Scott of Boston, MA, great grandchildren Ellie and Nolan Heller, and her 2 beloved dogs Lottie and Murphy.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 1:30pm at First Congregational Church, 837 Main St., East Hartford CT.
