Michelle Fromerth, age 54, of East Hartford, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023 after a long battle with ovarian cancer. She was born on February 6, 1969 at Manchester Memorial Hospital to Michael and the late Donna (Seretto) Fromerth. She grew up in Mayberry Village and graduated from East Hartford High School in 1987. She was employed at Certified Ambulance Group before retiring due to illness. Michelle loved vacationing at Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, solving crossword puzzles, and spending time with her beagle Molly. She was a generous soul and a good friend to many. Michelle is survived by her boyfriend Paul, her father, her brother Michael and his wife Tineeka, their sons Jonathan and Justin, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Michelle’s family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Hartford Hospital and to the staff at Apple Rehab for their care and many acts of kindness and support during her illness.
Visitation hours will be 5-7 pm on Friday, April 28 at Newkirk & Whitney funeral home in East Hartford. Funeral services will begin at 10:30am on Saturday, April 29 at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home in East Hartford with a prayer service to commence at 11:15am. Burial will follow at Silver Lane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory may also be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org/donate.
