Michael Richard Carroll Sr.

Michael was born on May 4, 1956 in Moses Lake, Washington, a son of Melvin and the late Luain (Lucy) Carroll.

He attended Prince Tech, and proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was a loving father, devoted to his family, always available for guidance. He enjoyed sports, especially watching Red Sox games. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and playful personality.

Michael will be dearly missed by his son, Michael Carroll Jr., of Hartford, and daughters Stephanie Carroll of Meriden and Bethany Carroll of Nashville, GA., brothers; Rodney Carroll and his wife Deanne of Womelsdorf, PA., Daniel Carroll and his wife Melissa of Palmer, MA, sister Vicki Szczepkowski and her husband Edward of Sinking Spring, PA, two grandchildren; Scott Lopez Jr. and Landen Lopez of Nashville, GA, many nieces and nephews and a special pet; his cat Lucky.

Friends and family are invited to attend a period of visitation on Thursday, June 5th, from 10am-1pm at the Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, CT 06108, followed by a Memorial Service at 1pm at the funeral home.
