Mary (Miller) Robillard, 91, of East Hartford, loving wife of over 58 years to the late John A. Robillard, Jr., peacefully entered into eternal rest with her family by her side on Monday, August 18, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. Born in Rothesay Bay, Isle of Bute, Scotland on May 11, 1923, the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Corrigan) Miller, she had been a resident of East Hartford since 1971. Mary was a member of the Royal Air Force Women's Auxiliary in London, England and of the East Hartford South End Senior Center. She especially enjoyed spending fifteen years during the winter at Pescara Lake in Bradenton, FL with her husband along with traveling on bus trips with John. She also liked crocheting, gardening, and nature (birds and deer). Most of all, Mary was a proud and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mary is survived by a daughter, Carolyn M. Taylor of East Hartford; two sons, Daniel J. Robillard and his wife, Denise, of Whitman, MA, and Stephen F. Robillard of East Hartford; a brother, Daniel Miller of Concord, NH; three special grandchildren, Michael Robillard of Whitman, MA, Christina Robillard of New York City, John Taylor of South Windsor; several nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Private funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
