Madawaska, ME, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 18, 2016.
Born on July 11, 1936, in Madawaska, ME, Claudette was a daughter of the late
Fred and Lizziane (Dufour) Beaulieu.
With her amazing strength and “feisty” spirit until the very end, Mom has Gone Home
to be with her son, Shane, who predeceased her in 2011.
A mother to nine children, she was incredibly talented and handy. She was an amazing seamstress, upholsterer and crafter. She could also build and repair just about anything, including major appliances. She never hesitated and was there on the spot to “fix things”
or sew for her children and relatives. She loved to dance, listen to Country music, go fishing,
be on the beach, visit her family in Florida and be at gatherings with her children and relatives. In July, she was so excited to celebrate her 80th birthday with all of her children there.
Mom will be missed by her children, Ruby; Cliff (and wife, Monica); Clay; Brett
(and wife, Darlene); Pilar (and Dave); Leah (and husband, Phil); Mika (and wife, Deb);
Renee (and husband Christopher); Edward Francis Wayne (and wife, Cheryl).
“Memere” leaves 14 grandchildren: Heather, Jesse, Faith, Danielle, “Sammie”,
Brandon, Joshua, Chad, Charlotte, Steven, Alexander, Samantha, Kate, Nicole; two
step-children, Amanda and “Bubba”; and six great-grandchildren: Kaitlynn, Kelsea, Chance, Mikayla, Nevaeh and Charlotte. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Chelsea in 1987.
She is survived by two brothers, three sisters and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers and three sisters.
Calling hours and a Memorial service will be held from 10 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday,
September 24, 2016 at D'Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter St., East Hartford, CT.
