I sit in my room just to think to myself and say my aunt that I was so close to is in good hands now. But today sept 27,2011 is 4months she's been gone and it's so hard until this day to say i miss her so much but you know what im going to think positive she's in better hands and im going to move on little by little knowing that she is still watching me and the rest of THE MARTINEZ FAMILY over from up above. As I sit here I ask myself Do we live our lives to the fullest? Having to look back and thinking about Malena,I have to say that she is a free-spirited soul,one who God will definately look after,fir she did live her life to the fullest,you can sayshe lived 2 lifetimes in her life with us,Now she's moved on to a better life,and I can say from my heart that while friends & family miss her here,she will definately be missed,for her smile was like sunshine,and her beauty was as much inside as well as the outside. A pesar de la distancia siempre fuistes una Tia muy especial. Nunca me olvidare de ti. Siempre te recordare como Mi Tia la que le encantaba coleccionar las figuras alrededor de toda su casa. Se que en los ultimos años te toco vivir unos dias bien fuertes pero gracias a tu fe y la fortaleza que llevabas siempre en tu corazón pudistes ganar la batalla muchas veces. Y eso fue gracias al amor que le tienes a tus hijos, nietos y visnietos, etc. Ellos eran tu razon de vivir y luchar contra lo que fuese. Esto no es una despedida Titi, es un hasta luego porque alla arriba en el cielo, algun dia nos volveremos a encontrar. Siempre fuistes muy fuerte y valiente y eso en nuestras mentes siempre se quedara. Siempre te recordara como la mujer valiente que lucho hasta no mas poder. Me llevare tu recuerdos como una de mis tias consetidas, dispuesta a dar su vida por cada uno de nosotros. Titi ya llego el momento en el que ya no sufriras mas y descansaras en PAZ. My dearest Wilma...no amount of words can ever replace the hurt and pain you are feeling right now my friend but I am hoping that the wonderful, loving and ever lasting memories that you have of your mother will help ease some of the pain at some point. I know it has done wonders for me knowing that I was there til the very end with my dad when he passed away as I know you were there with your mom til the end as well. Please know this...your mother will live forever in your heart. Whenever I am sad, I just go to a happy place when my dad was here with me and I smile because I know he will always be with me. I also smile because I know he is no longer in any kind of pain. In so many ways, that too has brought me comfort. I know that Maria loved her family very much.  She was an excellent grandparent and her grandchildren adored her.  Even when she was sick she stayed involved in their lives, helping out and supporting their school work.  I will be praying for you all as you grieve her loss.
