Kristin Lee O'Connell

Kristin L. O’Connell, 39, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was born August 7, 1972 in Long Island, NY. She was the daughter of James and Barbara (Frank) O’Connell.

Kristin was raised in Glastonbury. She received her bachelor’s degree from Springfield College and was currently attending Capital Community College in Hartford, studying nursing. She was employed by Rushford as a psychiatric assistant. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She spent most of her time caring for others at work and focusing on school. She will be most remembered for her kindness and grace.

She will be dearly missed by her parents, James and Barbara; her three sisters, Kathy Koppy and her husband Brian of Glastonbury, Kerri Sheehan and her husband Ryan of Mansfield, MA, Kacey Pirro and her husband Mark of Colchester; her grandparents Charles and Mary Frank; her nieces and nephews, Jessica, Connor, Alexis, Leah, Nicole, Stephanie, Jameson and Chelsea and many close friends.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
