Kathleen L. “Kathy” (Burney) Campbell, 67, of Hebron, loving wife of over 44 years of William C. Campbell, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Hartford on September 21, 1953, a daughter of the late Robert M. and Geraldine Burney, she had been a resident of Hebron for the past 40 years. Kathy was a graduate of Glastonbury High School and earned her Associates Degree from Manchester Community College. She liked solving crossword puzzles and going to the beach and ocean. She also was a fan of the UConn basketball teams and NASCAR.
Along with her beloved husband, Kathy is survived by a daughter, Stephanie and her husband Daniel; a son, Billy and his wife Michelle; a brother, Bob and his wife Ann Marie; a brother-in-law, Jim and his wife Trish; six nephews, and several dear friends.
A graveside service celebrating Kathy’s life will be Saturday (July 31, 2021) at 10 am at the Gilead Hill Cemetery, Gilead Street (Route 85), Hebron. Everyone is to go directly to the cemetery on Saturday morning. Kathy’s family will receive relatives and friends on Friday (July 30, 2021) from 4-6 pm at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford.
