John K. Koscinski

John Koscinski, 70, of East Hartford, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, June 14th, 2012. He was born July 6th, 1941 in Hartford to the late Catherine and Peter Koscinski. He graduated Hartford High School. He moved to East Hartford in 1970 where he resided for the next 42 years. John was employed by MDC, retiring after 20 years of service. He was proud to serve in the Army. He will be most remembered for being a lifelong sportsman of the Celtics, Giants and Yankees.

In addition to his wife Martha, John is survived by his two sons, Peter Koscinski of Broad Brook, CT, David Koscinski and his wife Alicia of Brownsville, TX and his granddaughter, Megan Claire Koscinski.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 20th, 2012, at 1 PM, at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, CT 06108. Military Honors will be presented at 1:45 PM on the funeral home lawn. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
