James P. Martin

James Paul Martin, 78, beloved husband of the late Mary Ann (Boronski) Martin of East Hartford, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2015. Born on November 22, 1936 in Plymouth, MA, Jim enjoyed the simple things in life and had a true passion for Woodworking, TV Westerns and Music with Hank Williams as his inspiration. He will be sadly missed but always remembered by his son and best buddy Michael Martin and his wife Laurie of Marlborough, two very special granddaughters, Erika and Kelly Martin, his beloved Westie, Mac, his cousins of Plymouth, MA and the “Boys”.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Friday, October 9th, from 5-7pm at the Newkirk and Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave, East Hartford CT 06108. Services will begin on Saturday, October 10th, at 9:30am with a Memorial Service to be held at 10am at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford.
