Gloria Jean McFarlane

She was born to the late Dorothy (Thompson, Jones) and Lorrel McFarlane.

Gloria for many years was a devout Jehovah's Witness, an active member of the East Hartford Congregation.

She enjoyed learning sign language, cooking, playing spades, being on her computer, listening to music and talking to friends. She was know to be hospitable and have a great heart. When she was able to, she attended many assemblies and conventions of Jehovah's Witnesses over the years. She truly loved her God, Jehovah.

She is predeceased by three brothers: Lorrel Jr., Ronald and Franklyn McFarlane.

She is survived by her sister, Sharon LaChance and her husband Bruno. Her nieces, Tyshawn, Rasheen, Katrina and a nephew, Ronald and her great nephew Khris whom she was very close to and other great nieces and nephews and cousins. She will be dearly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 4:00pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 640 Burnham St., South Windsor CT 06074.
