Elizabeth Anne Corrigan

Elizabeth A. “Liz” Corrigan, 51, of East Hartford died September 15, 2010 after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born in Manhattan, NY, a daughter of the late Donald J. and Joan (Matrisciano) Corrigan. Liz was a Social Worker for the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services with the State of Connecticut for many years. Liz enjoyed playing the piano and guitar, spending time with her grandchildren and playing with her dogs. She will be sadly missed and forever remembered by those who loved and knew her. She is survived by her spouse Lisa A. Connors of East Hartford, a step-daughter Desiree Mead and two step-grandchildren Gabrielle Connors and Annalis Mead all of Ellington. A time to gather for reflection and life celebration will be Thursday, September 23, 2010 from 5-8PM, with a religious service at 6:30PM.
