Douglas Paul Lasnier

Douglas Paul Lasnier (Doug) age 69 of Manchester, CT passed away peacefully with family and his best friend at his side, on Saturday April 5, 2025 at Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT. He was born August 18, 1955 to the late Frank and Josephine Lasnier.

Doug graduated from Bulkeley High School in 1973 and spent most of his adult life residing in Manchester, CT. He retired from EMCOR Company after 30 years in 2020 where he was recognized for his excellence in HVAC construction. He was a life long Giants fan and of March Madness Basketball.

He loved his special relationships with his cousin Stephen Doiron whom they referred to one another as brothers from another mother and his very best friend Brian Dunn.

Doug was a gentle, unassuming man and was known for his witty and dry sense of humor.

He is survived and missed by his loving wife Theresa Lasnier, Manchester, CT of 27 years, his brother Ken (Luanne) Lasnier of Cary, NC and sister Joanne Lasnier of Rocky Hill, CT. His memory lives on with his Uncle and Aunts; George (Wendy) Lasnier, St George, Utah,

Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday May 6, 2025 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. A celebration of Doug's life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2025 in the Newkirk and Whitney Funeral Chapel, 318
