Donald Goulet, 73 of East Hartford, CT., passed away on Oct. 26, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital with family by his side. Donald was born on Sept. 5, 1945 in Coaticook, Quebec Canada to the late parents Francois and Cecile (Bureau) Goulet. Donald was a real estate broker and investor in his hometown of East Hartford. He was a lifelong resident of East Hartford. Don married Monique (Foucher) in October 1964 and they made their home in East Hartford, CT. Don was a devoted husband of Monique for 54 years and father of 4 who cherished spending time with his family. He had a great sense of humor and always had to be the comedian in every crowd. He was loved by so many and always tried making everyone laugh and smile. He was a lifetime member of the French Club and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed playing/watching hockey, playing cards and going to the casinos. He will be most remembered for being a loving family man and for all his leadership and devotion in the community and programs that he belonged to. In addition to his wife Monique, he is survived and will be dearly missed by his daughters Sylvie and her husband Roland Lestage, Linda and her husband Juan Carac Ixtos both from East Hartford and his sons Steven and his wife Jennifer (Pawlus) of South Windsor and Robert Goulet of East Hartford and 6 grandchildren, Jessica, Luke, Matthew, Jason, Robbie and Eric and 5 great-grandchildren Mariah, Jaydell, Jake, Blake and Spencer. He also leaves his sister Lisette and her husband Jean Guy Hebert, many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
