Clementine Fulton Anderson, 94, longtime resident of Glastonbury passed away on March 12, 2011, at Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 29, 1917 daughter of the late William S. and Helen E. (Moore) Fulton. She grew up in the Philadelphia area and spent time in Long Island before moving to Connecticut where she wed her late husband Raymond E. Anderson who predeceased her on January 29, 2007 just short of their 50th wedding anniversary. Clementine enjoyed playing Bridge at the Glastonbury Senior Center and with friends at her home, she loved to work in her garden and spend time with family. She also enjoyed sitting on her porch reading books, doing crossword puzzles, shopping, and following the stock market and politics. She was a member of the First Church of Christ, Congregational in Glastonbury, since 1966. She is survived by a daughter Linda A. Melanson and her husband Robert of Manchester, a son David Anderson and his wife Eleanor of State College, PA and a daughter Martha A. Musial and her husband David of Hilton Head, SC: a brother William Fulton of West Covina, CA: a daughter in law Madelyn Pandolfi Anderson of PA: six loving grandchildren Robert Melanson Jr, John Musial and Amy Musial Hopkins, Rebecca Anderson Baum, and Michael Anderson and Caryn Anderson Brooks: seven great grandchildren Niklas, Skylar and Rhett Hopkins, Alex Baum, Chloe and Elizabeth Brooks and Brodie Anderson. Besides both parents and her husband she was predeceased by her first husband Bud Brindley, a son Robert Anderson, a great grandson Zakary Raymond Hopkins and a sister in law Joan Fulton. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 17th at 11 a.m. in the First Church of Christ Congregational, 2183 Main St., Glastonbury, CT 06033. Burial will follow in the family plots in Woodstock Hill Cemetery, Woodstock. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Clementine's memory to the First Church of Christ Congregational, Glastonbury or to the Glastonbury Senior Center, c/o Mary Leah Skoronski, 300 Welles Street, Glastonbury, CT 06033.
