I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs Lanyon (Miss Wise) taught me in 2nd grade at Nassau Christian Academy. She was very kind and gentle.

The memorial service today was a great blessing! Hers was a life well lived! I didn't have the pleasure to know her deeply, but it's obvious she impacted many lives to the Glory of God! There is a HUGE hole left in my hearts! The peace that passes human understanding will comfort her family and her dear friends. This is my prayer and I know the God of all Grace will strengthen all those that look to HIM!

My friend Pat, I'm praying for you! I know you walk with God! There are no words to express what's going on in your heart...

But I know that HE will continue the great work in your life until we all are joined together in His Presence!  Love you! ❤️🙏

I'm so sorry for your loss .I remember the talks I had with her  , visiting at the house with my dad Ron . She was one of a kind . she's at peace now ,no more pain may she sit and chat with my dad  and watch over all of their friends and family.Till we meet again .😢💓

Mrs. Lanyon was a part of us in the Bahamas showing us examples of what a true Christian is to be. She will always be remembered by us here in the Bahamas a true gem that will never be forgotten even though she left here a long time we always remember her beautiful smile and warm heart for the people of the Bahamas.

It is my prayer that Mr. Lanyon and his two young men be comforted and encouraged as they lay their wife and mother to rest.
She was a wonderful Christian woman. I remembered her from Nassau Christian Schools. Sister Wise was always ready to share the gospel of Christ with others. I had the privilege of going on visitation with her on many occasions. 
My sister Lanyon in Christ loved her Lord, and people. I tried over the years to pattern my life after her.
She was a godly example for any young Christian in The Bahamas, to emulate.

There are no words to describe the effect Christine had on everyone she met. Her sweet humble spirit and the unconditional love she showed to those around her was a powerful testimony of the love she had for her Lord and Savior.  We are grieving with her family, but rejoicing that she is in the loving arms of Jesus. She leaves behind a wonderful legacy that will never be forgotten.   We are truly blessed to have known her and to be part of her church family.

Dearest Lanyon Family,
My heart is broken and rejoicing at the same time as one who has experienced the loss of spouse and parents. Broken, of course, due to the huge loss, but rejoicing that a faithful servant has been called to her Savior’s presence. “Precious in the sight of the Lord” and “well done, good and faithful servant “ are verse portions that immediately come to mind. Christine was a beautiful woman and soul. We looked forward to every 
birthday card and anniversary card filled with stickers and a handwritten note, every year for over 20 years.  Our condolences to Brother Pat and Joseph and David and the Truth Baptist family.  She will be greatly missed.
