Carol (Hatch) Lavoie, 81, of East Hartford, loving wife of 38 years of the late Leandre “Guy” Lavoie, passed away peacefully with her caring daughter by her side on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at St. Mary Home in West Hartford. Born in Middlebury, Vermont on July 4, 1939, a daughter of the late Lewis and Ethel (Eubar) Hatch, she had been a resident of Windsor, Enfield, and West Suffield prior to moving to East Hartford over 20 years ago. Talented in crafts, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting and was a member of the “knitting club” at the East Hartford Southend Senior Center. Carol liked professional football and was a loyal fan of the New York Giants. Most of all, she was a devoted and proud mother and grandmother who enjoyed supporting and spending time with her family. She could never do enough for them and will be dearly missed by all of them.

Lavoie and his wife Libby of San Antonio, TX, Rod Barnish and his wife Cindy of South Hadley, MA; several adored grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-sons, cousins, and dear friends (Best friends Cheryl and Mary).
