Carol Ann Kelly

Carol Kelly, 89, of East Hartford, beloved wife of James Kelly, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. Born in Hartford, on December 22, 1935, she was the daughter of Rocco A. and Asunda (Cavallo) Toce.

Carol was creative and loved to crochet; she also enjoyed bowling and playing slots at the casino. Carol was a dedicated employee of the Burnham and Brady candy factory in East Hartford for over 30 years.

Carol is survived by her husband, James Kelly, Sr., her children, James J. Kelly, Jr., Tammy A. MacPherson, Susan Kelly, Christine Mathiau and her husband Dave, Sean Kelly and his wife Hazel, and Judith Clark, her grandchildren Kellie MacPherson, David Mathiau, Jamie Mathiau, Gina Kelly, Julia Kelly, Shantell Busby and Donnell Clark and her great-grandchildren Kaylin Womack, Selena Mathiau, Cristiano Mathiau, Malachi Busby and Miracle Busby and Gianna Clark. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved great-grandson Massiah Busby and all her brothers and sisters.
