Arlene C. Campbell

Arlene C. Campbell, 86, widow of Maurice of East Hartford passed away on January 21, 2013 after a long illness. Arlene was born Decmber 20, 1926 in Illinois, previously residing in Windsor, CT before residing in East Hartford. Arlene was employed for many years at Stanadyne where she was an assembler. She had a loving and gentle nature with a great sense of humor and will be most remembered for her true act of kindness. She is survived son Doug and his wife Kathy Campbell of East Hartford. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, neighbors and friends and a good and dear friend, Irene Papaleo. The family would also like to express their deep gratitude to the VNA Hospice staff for their wonderful care and many acts of kindness and support during her illness. Calling hours will be Friday, January 25, 2013 from 9:30-11:00 am, with a service to follow at The Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Turnpike, Glastonbury, CT.
