Aniela Pawlus passed away peacefully on November 20, 2024. Born on May 27, 1948, in a displaced persons camp in Germany following the war. She immigrated shortly afterwards to Connecticut with her parents Nina and Frank, eventually settling and spending her childhood in East Hartford. After graduating from Bryant College in Rhode Island, Aniela worked for some time as an assistant to Abraham Ribicoff, before embarking on a career in real estate, mainly in the Glastonbury area, the town in which she resided for many years until her passing.
Aniela was predeceased by her parents and brother Stanley. She is survived by her brother Frank Pawlus (Gail), her sisters Lodzia Daley, Irene Pelletier (Ralph), Veronica Longo (Jerry), Anna Benson (Keith), Jenny Pawlus (Brian Arey), and many nieces and nephews.
