Andre Pelletier

André Pelletier, 92 of East Hartford, CT, the son of the late André and Mathaide (Caron) Pelletier, died on July 26, 2011. He was born in Ste-Anne N.B., Canada, and has lived in East Hartford for 50 years. Besides his wife Anita Pelletier, to whom he was married for 70 years, he leaves his children: Stolan and his wife Réjeanne and Pierrette of Windsor Locks, Gaston and his wife Carol of Farmington, Rachel and her husband John Bernetich of Charlestown, R.I., Alma and her husband Daniel Burnham, Eugène and his wife Shirley, Rebecca Kearney, all of East Hartford, Raphaël and his wife Irene of South Windsor, Denise and her husband Larry Wood of Sugarland, TX., and Robert of Wethersfield.

He leaves 22 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

He leaves his brothers Antoine of AZ, Camille, Lionel, Honoré all of N.B. Canada, his sister Rita Pépin of P.Q., Canada.

He was predeceased by his children Hermance, Marie-Reine, Joseph, Daniel, Marc and Jacques.

He was also predeceased by his sisters Bertha and Martine Pelletier, Simone Bourgeois, Alfreda St-Onge and his brothers Alphée and Lazarre.

Friends and relatives may pay their respects on Friday, July 29th from 6-9PM at Benjamin J. Callahan Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave. East Hartford. Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 30th at 9:00 AM at the funeral home followed by his Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM in St. Mary Church, 15 Maplewood Ave. Burial will follow in Silver Lane Cemetery, both are located in East Hartford.
