Alice Hapkiewicz

Alice was employed by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft & Procaccini Victor & Sons. She was an active member of the North & South end Senior Clubs of East Hartford, she enjoyed playing Bingo, traveling & taking cruises and cooking.

Alice was a loving & devoted wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother. She is survived by her son George Hapkiewicz and his wife Beverly of East Hartford, daughter Helen Hartert of Chesapeake, Virginia, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She will also be dearly missed by her many friends at the senior centers, and her special friend Gary Procaccini.

The family would like to thank the supportive and attentive staff of Riverside Healthcare Center for taking such good care of Alice.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, August 12th from 9:30-11am at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave, East Hartford, CT 06108. Funeral Services will follow immediately at 11am at the funeral home, burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, East Hartford.
