ZYWAR-BURG, Joanne E. (nee Grody) of Marilla, NY. April 3, 2024. Beloved wife of the late John S. Zywar and the late Clarence E. Burg; loving mother of Monica (late David) Pierce, Michael (Amy) Zywar, Charles (Shirley) Burg, Michael (Connie) Burg, Thomas (Lisa) Burg; cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; adored godmother of Diana Ferrando and Tim Grody; predeceased by her brother, James (Norma) Grody; survived by nieces and nephews. Joanne was a registered nurse for approximately 25 years at South Buffalo Mercy. She was an avid gardener and world traveler. Family will be present Tuesday 4-7 PM at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 784 Main St., East Aurora. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday 10:30 AM at St. Cecilia Worship Site, Sheldon (St. John Neumann), 991 Centerline Rd., Strykersville.
