Dear Greg and family. I was with Dr Bob H this morning and he told me of Mike's passing. It's probably been 50-55 years since we've seen each other as Shoshone neighbors but I never forgot your family. I wanted to pass along a few words of sympathy and caring. Bob filled me in a little on Mike's brilliant career and his loving wife Raj.  I'll let Dave N and Mike R, other former neighbors know too.  Will say a prayer for you and your family. I sit here wondering what to say having just found about Michael...recently I finished reading his memoir and loved discovering his life as an adult as I grew up knowing him so well as a child and teenager. We shared many good times and so many memories. As we moved around the country, I never lost the vision of his courage and enduring positive attitude towards life. He will never be forgotten. Thank you Raj for all your attention and love given all these years. It was so comforting to know that he was in your hands and heart.

Dearest Patty, I always loved talking to Mike, about golf, his book, about India, my work. He loved you very deeply and both of you were such a loving couple. Our prayers and sympathies are with you at this time. Aruna, anunay and pranay

So sorry to hear of the loss of your brother Mike. What a courageous boy and man. I can vividly see Mike walking and balancing with his hand on Greg's shoulder. Your whole family was always inspiring ours. Thank you for the memories.

Raj, Many good memories of Mike when I helped with A/C , refrigeration work not only at the University but also at home.
