Francis P. LaMonte, of Buffalo, entered into rest on April 29, 2023 at age 74. Devoted father of Nicole (Roy Ted DeGolier IV) LaMonte-DeGolier; adored grandfather of Teddy, Jack and Bella DeGolier; loving son of the late Jack and Carmella LaMonte; dear brother of Christine (Len Williams) LaMonte, the late Michael (Dottie) LaMonte, the late Angelo (Jean) LaMonte and the late John (Frances) LaMonte; cherished godfather of John Francis LaMonte; bonus dad of Lora Costantino; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Mr. LaMonte was a veteran of the US Navy and the US Marine Corps and served during the Vietnam War. He worked for many years as an occupational therapist at the Buffalo VA Medical Center. Relatives and friends may visit DENGLER, ROBERTS, PERNA FUNERAL HOME, 8630 Transit Rd., East Amherst, on Friday (May 19, 2023) from 2-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, 6919 Transit Rd., Swormville, on Saturday (May 20, 2023) at 10:30am. Please assemble at church. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
