Sincere condolences to all the family. I was privileged to work with Elizabeth at our law firm for several years while she was in NC and continuing remotely when she returned to NY. She was professional in every sense of the word, with a dedication to her clients and her craft. We stayed in touch often and it was always a joy to hear from her and learn of her latest accomplishments.
Those of us here in NC who knew her and worked with her will miss her and extend our thoughts and prayers especially to her beloved children.

I feel incredibly privileged to have known Elizabeth.  I met her at work and quickly learned how amazing, sweet and caring she was. She could light up a room and she could always make me laugh. We shared pet stories and photos and she’d always tag me on Facebook or send me funny cat photos that made her think of me.  She will be so missed.  Sending so much love to her entire family… my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. She was so special and loved you all so much! 

Dear Brewer Family,  although I never got to meet Elizabeth in person, I could sense her warmth and intelligence from our online conversations. I was hoping to meet her in the next 2 years - difficult as I live in Australia. She was such a devoted mother and I really feel for her beautiful children at this time. I had the distinct honor of working with Elizabeth at Genesee County DSS. She was smart, caring, devoted, dedicated, funny and loving. She loved her children more than anything and not a day went by she didn’t brag about them. She loved being an attorney and cared deeply about her clients. We had countless talks, hugs, laughs. Anytime she saw a sloth she would buy it and bring it to me because she knew I loved them. She always had a kind smile, an ear to lend and a laugh to give. I will miss her a lot. To her family and friends , I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Please know how much Elizabeth was cherished and loved in all facets of her life.

You were walking down the hallway every time I saw you…I remember either hugging you or holding your arm and telling you that we needed to chat…..and now you are gone..
I can’t believe it…we were supposed to go to lunch…we were supposed to go have a glass of wine…we never got to it…

I was deeply saddened to learn of Elizabeth's passing and will miss her dearly. She was the kind of friend we all wish we had more of -- kind, thoughtful, funny, and her love of and devotion to her children was obvious to all who knew her. My deepest condolences to Emma, Ethan, Erynn, and to all her family and friends.
