one of the finest people I've ever come across in my lifetime. always treated me and my wife like family.  and all the Simon's were fabulous people. God bless Dr. Simon and his family  !!

Sending my deepest sympathy to the entire Herb Simon family.  Dr. Herb was truly a Renaissance man.  He used his many talents in the service of others, including as a Kenmore Lion for 64 years!!   His biggest source of pride was in his wonderful family!  My prayers are with you all.


Herb and Carol were my dentists for about fifteen years.  I really felt bad when they closed shop not only because of their excellent work but I always felt like I was visiting friends.  My condolences to his family and especially Carol.

We would like to express our condolences to the Simon family. Dr H. was great dentist and even better person. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were patients for many years and are thankful for his expert dentistry. He was also very dedicated. I remember the time that he came in on a Saturday to repair a broken filling that I had. I appreciated that very much. We will miss his smile and sense of humor. We would also like to thank Dr Carol, Susan ,Barb,and Ann for their professional and friendly service. Rest in peace Dr H. ,heaven now has an out of this world dentist!!!

Doctor Simon was an absolute legend.  My entire family and I were fortunate to have been in his care for our a good part of our lives.  He was always so cheerful, professional and extremely talented.  To this very day I am told my restorations are surprisingly in tact - in spite of the many years of candy damage that your dad had to repair for me. Reading his obituary impresses me even more.  What a guy.  When we saw you all at Saigon Bangkok several years back it was such a treat.  He was in such good form and so happy to share some memories with us.  Heartfelt condolences to all of you.  How blessed you were to have such an incredible father.  I hope a bit of him lives on in all of you.  He was a Prince.  Love and Prayers.. On behalf of the “Cannata” family, I want to express our condolences to Dr. Simon’s family. He was our family dentist for so many years and together with Dr.  Carol, Susan, and Barbara,  we always felt we were in great hands!  Dr. Simon was so thorough and personable  and always listened to any concerns we had. I am in awe of his long and dedicated career, and want to assure you that he will not be forgotten.

Dr. Simon was a great dentist, but he was a greater person. He was one of the finest people that I have ever had the privilege of meeting. 
R.I.P. good doctor.

I was a pleasure to visit the office of Dr. Simon.  Doing so was always a cheerful experience.  He and his family members created a positive atmosphere for treatment.  There were smiles, laughter and encouraging words during every visit. 
I also recall his making "house calls" to our home and the hospital when my late wife, Linda, was ill. 
I am proud to have been a patient of Dr. Simon. My condolences to his family.

Dear Simon family,
So sorry to hear about your dad.  I have such fond memories of him at Buffalo Turner's growing up .  Our parents were great friends as were us kids .  He was so supportive of us and the gymnastics team. he was a great mentor to all of us.  Someone we could all look up to.  He loved his children and always wanted the best for them.   
I will personally miss all the chats we had during  my dental checkups.
You can be proud of your dad for his professionalism.  He was always articulate and a class act.  The MacLean family will miss him a lot.

I had the honor of knowing Dr. Simon or "Dad" as I called him  for 45 years. He was such a gentle, loving, kind person that loved his family. He was amazing. He practiced dentistry in his own practice until he was 90! He had a very strong will to live and was self sufficient until he was 95. His family learned by his example the importance of family. His children, grandchildren, & their spouses are loving wonderful people. I know that "Dad" is now with his loving wife Gloria, son Paul , uncle George and others. May his family  all know that "Dad" will now be your ANGEL.  RIP

The Kenmore Lions Club sends our sincere sympathy at the death of  past member Lion Herb.  He was a dedicated Lion and gave many years of service to the Organization.  

I have known Dr. Simon for last 6 years.  When he would get  his own annual dental cleaning, he would come and give me a report of his dental appointment like a little kid with a chuckle on his face! He himself being a dentist for so long would advise me on how to take care of my teeth.
Until about two years ago he was a voracious reader.  He used to read big fat books during his dialysis treatment and gave me recommendations to read good books.
At age 94, he wrote a small essay for the renal support network and received lot of compliments for the same!  He wrote the essay on a piece of paper and requested me to type it, which I gladly did. In that essay he wrote, "after dialysis, I find myself independent.  Dialysis has given me the quality of life again. " 
I would miss Dr. Simon in the clinic in his usual dialysis chair.  My condolences and prayers for the entire loving and caring family he has left behind.

My condolences to the family.  Dr. Simon was my dentist for many years.  I still miss his wonderful and kind care.   He sure lived a long and fulfilling life.  Blessings to all from Elaine Grdner.
