Clara C. Summers

Clara C. (nee Moulin) Summers, of East Amherst, entered into rest on August 15, 2021 at age 86. Beloved wife of the late Richard J. Summers; devoted mother of Daniel (Donna) Summers, Jane (Ken) Dietz, Tom (Nancy) Summers and Joan (Larry) Engasser; cherished grandmother of Jason (Griselda) Summers, Laura (Robert) Moe, Paul (Lindsey) Summers, Eric (Laura) Dietz, Jonathan (Emily) Summers, Amanda (Mike) Juhas, Chris (Kim) Ignatowski, Brian (JoAnna) Dietz, Matthew (Heather) Summers and Kathy (Seth) Duck; adored great-grandmother of 15; eldest child of the late Norman and Gertrude (nee Leising) Moulin; loving sister of Charles (late Annette) Moulin, Mary (Jerry) Haas and John (Jean) Moulin; dear sister-in-law of Mary Hawes and Jean Summers. Clara was an avid square dancer, bowler, and the neighborhood mom. She was active in Girl Scouting and her family was the most important thing to her. Relatives and friends may visit the DENGLER, ROBERTS, PERNA FUNERAL HOME, 8630 Transit Rd., East Amherst, on Friday (August 20, 2021) from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Chapel, 6919 Transit Rd., Swormville, on Saturday (August 21, 2021) at 12noon. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery.
