William David Lee Sr.

Mr. William David Lee, Sr., of Dunn, NC died Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC. David was born in Harnett County, NC. on August 12, 1940 the son of the late Donell Raynard and Mary Clyda McLamb Lee. He is also preceded in death by his sisters, Lavelle Warren and Mary Lou Johnson and his brothers, D. R. Lee and an infant brother. David enjoyed serving the public, friends and his family. He was the owner and operator of The City Fish Market and later retired from Tart (Diversified) Gas Company. He loved UNC Basketball, hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding and watching his son David play sports. He cherished his time with his family, especially his granddaughters and the love of his life Faye. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 10, 2017 at 2:00 pm. at the Bethesda Friends Meeting on Green Path Rd. with Rev Lee Lane and Rev. Cheryl Benson officiating. He is survived by: His wife: Faye Tart Lee of the home A Son: David Lee, Jr and wife Donna of Princeton, NC Granddaughters: Beth Lee of Cary, NC and Kristen Lee of Greenville, NC Sisters: Becky Lassiter and husband David of Dunn, NC, Judy Lee and Husband Wayne of Dunn, NC, Faye Lee of Dunn, NC and Melva Hill of Dunn, NC Many Nieces and Nephews The family will receive friends Friday, February 10, 2017 from 1 – 2 pm, one hour prior to the service and other times at the home.
