William Franklin Dorman, Jr., age 72 of Erwin died Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
William was born on September 21, 1949 in Harnett County the son of the late William Franklin Dorman, Sr. and Muriel Buffkin Dorman and is preceded in death by sisters, Ethel Barbour and Connie Ennis.
William was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving 2 years and was proud of his military service. He was a motor vehicle appraiser and automotive mechanic specializing in vehicle body work.
William enjoyed fishing and was an avid golfer, he also loved to watch N.C. State Football and old westerns on television.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday, Nov.15, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Erwin Memorial Park.
He is survived by: Daughters: Shauna Haslem & Kalo of Wade, NC. and Sheena Dorman of Willow Springs, NC.
A Special Friend: Debbie Carpenter of Dunn, NC.
A Sister: Katherine Ennis of Benson, NC.
Grandchildren: Emma Haslem and Trenton Haslem of Wade, NC.
The family will receive friends Monday from 11:30 am -12:30 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home in Dunn, NC.
