She was born on February 17, 1941 in Buffalo, NY to the late Wilbur Carroll Bond and Doris Wettengel Bond.
Nancy was the matriarch of her family. A pastor’s wife for over 40 years, she dedicated herself to serving the Lord wherever He led. Her ministry involved helping wherever needed: teaching Sunday school, leading Vacation Bible School, serving as church administrator, leading the music ministry and playing the piano or organ. She followed the Lord’s leading and supported her husband’s ministry in numerous churches in several states.
Nancy was an avid reader, and loved puzzles of all sorts. Musically talented, she loved to play the piano, organ and accordion. Nancy was kind-hearted, putting the needs of her family and others first. A graduate of Eastern Bible Institute, she worked in various secretarial roles and as a medical transcriptionist.
A brother Bruce Bond preceded her in death.
