Linda Butler Strickland, 75, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Rev. Hubert Keith Strickland; her parents Lindon and Lellon Butler; and her sister Devon Johnson.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Tammy Cook Pace (Joel), and Lisa Whitley (Zack); her sisters Betty Patrick and Barbara Moore (Donny); her Grandchildren Zeke Whitley (Lindsey), Zeb Whitley, Cameron Cook (Natalie), London Cook, Scott Cook and Amanda Cook; and her precious companion puppy Bella.
Linda was a devoted member of The Church of God in Erwin, NC for many years. She was known as a Preacher’s Wife, and a devoted mother and Mema, and she wanted nothing more than to know her family and friends were bound for Heaven.
The visitation for Linda will be Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 1:30-2:30 PM at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home in Dunn, NC. The service will follow at 3PM in the Chapel, with a burial to follow at Erwin Memorial Park.
