Kimberly Jean Nelson

Kimberly Jean Nelson, age 66 of Godwin, died Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Sampson Regional Hospital in Clinton, NC.

Kimberly was born on November 26, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah the daughter of the late Bob Dunn and Naomi Bailey Dunn. She is also preceded in death by Sisters, Jennifer Dunn and Betty Strickland and a Brother, William Dunn.

Kimberly was a devoted companion, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She loved people and never met a stranger, she always had a smile on her face and a great sense of humor.

Kimberly was the manager and secretary for the former Double T Restaurant. She also enjoyed making homemade jewelry to give to others.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 15, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Dunn. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

She is survived by: Lifelong Companion: James Walker of the Home.

Daughters: Renee Sosa & (Fiance) Manuel Lopez; Lynn Konkel and Shannon Duck.

Brother: Robert Dunn;

Nine Grandchildren, One Great Grandson.

Mother-in-Law: Betty Walker; Brothers-in-Law: Gene Walker and Kenny Walker.

Sisters-in-Law: Linda Skenadore and Shirley West
