She was born June 17, 1989 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina the daughter of Richard Smith and Jo Anne and Michael Hobby.
Kimberly enjoyed doing crafts and made beautiful wreaths, she liked to sew, dance and loved her family deeply. She was a devoted wife and mother, cherished her friendship with her sister and doting on her niece and nephew. She will be deeply missed for her heart of gold and the sunshine she brought others.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 12 years, Travis Capps of the home; beloved daughter, Cheyenne Capps of Godwin, NC; mother, Jo Anne Hobby and husband Michael; father, Richard Smith; sister, Elizabeth Ashworth and husband Richard; niece Abigail Ashworth; nephew, Timothy Ashworth; grandmother, Jewel Jackson; and numerous other loving family and friends.
A memorial service will be held 7 PM Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home, 401 W. Cumberland Street, Dunn, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
