Kenneth Hollis McIntyre

Mr. Kenneth (Ken) Hollis McIntyre, 61, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at Dahlia Gardens Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, in Aberdeen, NC. Ken was born on October 31,1961 at Dover Air Force Base, in Dover, Delaware to the late Elwin McIntyre and Virginia McLamb McIntyre. He was a 1979 graduate of Midway High School.

He is survived by his two sisters, Lynn McIntyre Edwards and Brenda McIntyre Perez-Piris. Ken was very fond of his nephews, Daniel Edwards, Adam Edwards, Derek Perez-Piris and his dear niece Alysa Perez-Piris.

Home to Newton Grove, North Carolina, Ken was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed every moment spent in nature. Ken loved hunting, trapping and fishing. Revealed in his writings and illustrated in his art, Ken relished listening to music, especially country music. His most admired musician was Jimmy Buffett. According to God's great mercy, Ken was stirred to ask and he accepted Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior.
