Joyce Lee Jackson

Joyce Marie Lee Jackson, age 70 went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 7, 2023.

Joyce was born July 12, 1952, in Dunn, NC the daughter of the late Lorman Jarvis Lee and Emerald Starling Lee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Eddie Houston Jackson; her son, Chad Lee Jackson; and a grandson, Dallas Jackson.

Joyce was a life-long member of Grove Presbyterian Church in Dunn. Her conviction of “Staying in touch” with those she loved and cared for created a unique and special bond with each one. Her devotion to her family, friends and community will be dearly missed.

Joyce is survived by her son, Eddie Houston Jackson, Jr., a grandson, Chad Jackson of Snow Hill, NC; a sister, Nancy Lassiter of Durham, NC; a brother, Robert Lee of Dunn; sister-in-law, Marie Lee of Dunn; sister-in-law, Glenda Carraway (Jimmy) of Dunn and brother-in-law, Ricky Jackson (Diane) of Roseboro and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday Morning, July 13, 2023 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 11:00 am in the chapel with Rev. Tom Wagoner officiating.
