Jeffrey Clark James

He was born on July 29, 1961 in Harnett Co, NC to Linwood Lee "L.L." James Sr. and Linda Simpson James.

His father preceded him in death.

He held numerous positions in life, an electrician, concrete truck driver, and taxicab driver. He also worked in construction building homes.

Jeffrey was an avid NASCAR fan, well known for his favorite Dale Earnhardt, Sr., #3. Passionate about his love for horses and horseback riding: he also enjoyed fishing.

His mother Linda Simpson James, of Dunn, NC; two, brothers Linwood Lee “Sonny” James Jr., and wife, Beth, of Little River, SC, and Dennis Ray James and wife, Amy, of Erwin, NC; and several nieces and nephews survive Jeffrey.

On Saturday May, 11, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home, of Dunn, NC.

A celebration of life service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Gabriel Landis and Pastor Raeford McLeod, officiating.

Burial will be private.
