Edna Grey Parker

Edna Barefoot Parker, age 66 of Dunn, died on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.

Edna was born on November 27, 1953 in Harnett County the daughter of the late Johnny B. Barefoot and Martha Evelyn McLamb Barefoot and is preceded in death by a grandson, Cullen Reece Parker and a brother, Timmy Barefoot.

Edna graduated in 1972 from Dunn High School and retired from JR’s store in Selma as the manager.

Edna was a selfless woman putting everyone before herself, she loved her family and her grandchildren were the light of her life.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 2:30 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Esslinger Officiating. Burial will follow in Erwin Memorial Park.

She is survived by: Her husband of almost 52 years: Calvin Parker of the home.

Sons: Trent Parker & (wife) Erica of Dunn, NC and Kevin Parker & (wife) Amy of Coats, NC

Grandchildren: Colby Parker, Alexa Parker & Chloe Parker

Sister: Evelyn B. Gregory of Benson, NC

Brothers: Johnny Ray Barefoot & (wife) Susie of Dunn, NC; Benny Barefoot of Benson, NC; Shane Barefoot & (wife) Deanna of Coats, NC

There will be a visitation Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home. One hour prior to the funeral.
