Evelyn was such a sweet person. She had such a pretty smile with those great dimples. 

We had a super group at Central High School. She was a special part of the Class of ‘69!

I am so sorry to hear about your family’s loss. I have very fond memories of Doris growing up in Wade and at Bluff Church. She was a sweet gentle loving soul. My parents, Merrill and Thelma McLaurin thought very highly of her. Sending thoughts and prayers of comfort.

My deepest sympathy to the family.  Ms. Moore was my kindergarten teacher at College Lakes.  She was my all time favorite teacher.  We would still see each other throughout the years in town and she always remembered my name.  She was a wonderful person!

Don and I offer sincere condolences to you  as you navigate the sorrowful and unexpected loss of your dear sister — your best friend and confidant.

The two of you forged a strong bond during your childhood which grew and strengthened as you reached adulthood, and as you shared joys and experienced sorrows.

Your family’s legacy of faith, love, caring, and sharing will enable you to move forward with grace and fortitude.

May we be mindful of the  beautiful lyrics of Verse 3 in the beloved hymn, “Great is Thy Faithfulness,”  which assures the faithful  of receiving “strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow.”

I have known Evelyn , Elaine, and their dear brother David since we were young.  We were members of Bluff Presbyterian Church in Wade and I cherish the memories I have of them as we were growing up and later as adults.  I cannot think of Evelyn without Elaine.  We had a lot of fun as we grew into adults and worked side by side at our church whether it was Sunday School projects or children’s programs or many other things.  Elaine I know your heart is broken , but I want you to know that John and I are praying that Our Lord Jesus Christ will give you comfort, peace and strength. I’m sure that knowing Evelyn is no longer suffering is a comfort to you.  Thank you for being the wonderful sister you have been to Evelyn.  The love and care you provided for her is truly a gift from God.  We love you Elaine.

Evelyn was a dear friend.  I got to know Evelyn thru her dear sister Elaine.  The love these sisters shared is beyond amazing.  Evelyn was a lady who exemplified Christ each and every day.  Her crown is embodied with many jewels for all the good deeds she did in this earthly life. With her health declining ,she remained positive and fought her complications with dignity.  Go fly high with the angels now my friend. You suffer no more and are experiencing pain free days walking those streets of gold in Heaven.  Rest assured we will be here to support and encourage Elaine in the days ahead as she faces life without your physical presence in this earthly life.  Love you my friend💕
