CROMARTIE-MILLER FUNERALS AND CREMATIONS OBITUARY Dunn, NC Mr. Donald Ray Suggs, age 77, of Brookwood Ave., Dunn died Monday May 16, 2016 at his home. Mr. Suggs was born in Durham County on December 18, 1938 the son of the late Novell & Nora Ann Hair Suggs. He is preceded in death by 2 Brothers, Novell Suggs, Jr. & Ralph Suggs and wife Helen; a sister Daphine S. Stewart. He was retired from Morganite where he worked as a machinist and was a U.S Army Veteran. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jim Wallace, Phil Addison & Randy Beasley Officiating. Burial will follow in Erwin Memorial Park. He is survived by: His wife: Peggy Suggs of the home 3 Sons: James K. Godwin, Sr. & wife Darlene of Dunn, NC Sonny R. Godwin of Dunn, NC Donald R. Suggs Jr. & wife Jacqueline of Erwin, NC 10 Grandchildren & 6 Great Grandchildren The Family will receive friends Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home in Dunn and at other times at the home.
