Debra Ann Norris Jackson, 63 of 128 Joy Street Dunn, departed this life on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at her home. She was born October 20, 1955 in Harnett County to Travis Norris and the late Dorothy Stewart Norris. She was also preceded in death by her boyfriend, Ricky Thornton, Sr. Debbie was a huge North Carolina fan and enjoyed spending time outdoors. She was a former manager of Family Dollar and worked for many years at Champion Sportswear Manufacturing. She loved spending time with her family and playing ball. Debbie believed in the Pentecostal faith.
Debra leaves behind to honor her legacy, her father Travis Norris of Lillington; two children: Hillary Thornton and Ricky Thornton, Jr. both of Dunn; two grandchildren: Cadance Chestnutt and Camreigh Thornton.
A memorial service to commemorate the life of Debbie Jackson will be conducted on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the parlor of Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie White officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until the funeral hour on Sunday at the funeral home.
