Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Lisbon "Jack" Hayes Grantham and Ina Mozelle Williams Grantham.
Bobby was known for his deep love of antique Ford convertibles. He also had a passion that paralleled his professional excellence in carpentry. He owned and ran a successful contracting company, where his craftsmanship and dedication were evident in every project.
Bobby's hobbies extended beyond his work. He was an avid woodworker, creating beautiful pieces that were as functional as they were artistic. His mornings were joyfully spent watching over his cows at his ranch, a cup of coffee in hand, often accompanied by the tunes of classic country music.
Bobby's life was marked by his enduring love for his family, his dogs Prissy and George, and his unwavering commitment to his community through his craftsmanship.
Survived by a loving family, Bobby leaves behind his daughters, Dorothy Wooten, and her husband, Wayne, of Cleburne, TX, and Kathi McCrady of Maineville, OH; his step-daughter, April McMillan, and her husband, Jeff, of Autryville, NC; his sisters, Linda Faye Faircloth of Salemburg, NC, and Nancy Faircloth, and her husband, Jimmy, of Autryville, NC; his brother, Donald Grantham, and his wife, Margie, of Autryville, NC.
He was a cherished grandfather to Christopher Jackson, Sr., of Cleburne, TX, and Amberlie Grantham Krueger, of Fenton, MI, and a great-grandfather to Christopher "CJ" Jackson and Aidan Jackson and Esther Krueger. His step-granddaughters Ashley, Rachel, and Megan also survive him.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Union Baptist Church Cemetery, 395 Vander Rd., Salemburg, NC.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
