Betty Westbrook Lee, age 85 of Dunn, died on Saturday, March 6, 2020 at Golden Years Nursing Home in Falcon.
Betty was born on April 28, 1935 in Wayne County the daughter of the late Exum E. Westbrook and Maggie Lee Price Westbrook and is preceded in death by her husband, Roland R. Lee. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Lee, a brother, Haywood Westbrook and sisters, Iva West and Thelma Williams.
Betty worked 16 plus years at Bonders and then at Coats Apparel as a presser and inspector.
She was devoted Christian lady, who put God first in everything she did. She was a member of Full Gospel Revival Center where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and Music Leader. She enjoyed singing and was busy with the work of the Lord, doing whatever her hands could find to do.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald McCorquodale & Sister Diane Norris officiating. Burial will follow in Devotional Gardens.
She is survived by: Son: Russ Eric Lee of Erwin, NC and a Daughter: Gail Lee Williams of Coats, NC.
Grandchildren: Robert Wayne Williams, Lacy Lee Williams & Leah Faith Jernigan.
Sister: Margaret L. Coats & (husband) Billy of Coats, NC
The family will receive friends on Wednesday Evening, March 10, 2021 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home in Dunn.
