On Monday December 15, 2014, Sylvia passed away peacefully and surrounded by love. Beloved wife of the late Reverend Ray K. Farrell. Loving mother of Debora (the late Dan Ferland), Sandra, and David (Lisa). Cherished Grandma of Bryce, Erin, Katherine, Lee-Anne, Danick, Madeline, Ethan, Oscar, and Jasper. Dear sister of Nona Peroff (John), Tella Sametz (Mohammed) and their families. Sylvia dearly loved her family and good friends, and cherished the times spent together to share good stories, good food and lots of laughter. Her strong faith was the foundation of who she was and was evident in all that she said and did. The family would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to the staff at Shalom Village for their gentle and compassionate care. Friends may call at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 1140 King St West, Hamilton on Thursday December 18 for visitations from 2-4 pm or 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held in the church on Friday December 19 at 11:00 am. Reception to follow.
