The Davis Family
Sean David Davis, beloved son of Eleanor and the late Michael Davis, father of Mallory, Shelby, Jesse, Kirby and Bradley, all of whom both he and Marla Frank-Davis are incredibly proud; dear brother of Jeff and Darien, uncle of Grace and Tessa, and cherished nephew of Ken and Lynda Davis, died comfortably and surrounded by family at his home on the evening of June 28.
Sean was a kind-hearted and generous person who loved many, and was loved by many. He indulged his passions for his work, culinary expertise and sports, in service of so many, providing care to his clients, preparing sumptuous meals for friends and family in Dundas, Ontario, and taking so many friends, family and clients to see Leaf games in Toronto.
Sean’s love for golf was only surpassed by his love for people. He charmed and captured the hearts of many, who now mourn his loss at the young age of 53.
During the last year, which has been incredibly sorrowful and painful for so many, Sean’s family and friends traversed all boundaries, to be close by his side in Dundas, where together they battled his cancer. Out of this period of struggle, we are left with a terrible loss, but also a powerful sense of love, connection and family, from the incredible support provided by so many. This will remain Sean’s last legacy, and we are forever grateful for this gift that he left for all of us.
There will be virtual gathering for family and friends this month, which will be announced on the website of the Marlatt’s Funeral Home at www.dignitymemorial.com. There will be a celebration of Sean’s life in the fall. A personal message on the condolences book on the website would be especially welcome at this time. Donations to Camp Oochigeas in Sean’s name are also welcome.
