Michael will be deeply missed by his in-laws, Kevin and Rebecca Genge, Grandma and Grandpa Rae, sister and brother in-law, loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and friends including his “second brother” Brad Anderson and his “adopted work dad” Pete Ricci at Arcelor Mittal Dofasco. Michael's tag line “A lift today, saves a gap tomorrow” will live on forever in the Hot Mill.
Michael worked hard at any job, always willing to help out a neighbour or friend in need. He was passionate about his job, his cars and having the best turf on the street. We will miss his infectious personality, his happy-go-lucky attitude, his loving nature and his beautiful smile.
Visitation will be held at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 195 King Street West, Dundas, on Tuesday, May 15th from 2-4 and 6-9pm. Memorial service to be held on Wednesday, May 16th at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel.Private family burial will take place at White Chapel Memorial Gardens where Michael will be laid to rest with his loving grandparents Dirk and Mary Vantol.
With his love of animals, his furbabies Loki, Cooper and Lucy, expressions of sympathy can be made to the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA in Michael’s memory.
