Margaret Ruth Gaul

On August 9, 2012, at her home, in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Jack Gaul. Much loved mother of Andy and his wife Nancy and John (and Brenda McKean). Will be missed by her grandchildren Steven, Catherine (and husband Wade), David, great-grandchildren Chase and Austin and her niece Barb Linkert. Marg and Jack operated the family business, A.G. Gaul Jewellers, in downtown Hamilton for over 50 years. She was a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church and served as a volunteer in many church and community organizations. The family wishes to express their deep, heartfelt thanks for the five years of loving home care provided by Teresa, Maria, Mary, Louise, Sulma, Julie, Pat and Nancy from Bayshore Home Health and to Dr. James Williams. Marg will be missed by her good friend Gloria Miller and her many friends at St. Joseph's Estates in Dundas. Visitation on Monday, August 13th, from 7-9 p.m. at MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, Swackhamer Chapel, (905) 627-7452, 195 King St. W., Dundas. A service will be held Tuesday, August 14th at Knox Presbyterian Church, 23 Melville St., Dundas, at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Knox Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
